FAQ

What is PeekUp?
We pick up your old stuff that you wanted to get rid of since a while. We help you find peace of your mind in your uncluttered home.
*What can I get rid off?
Anything which is not illegal to posses, so no nuclear waste or anything too big to carry on our cargo bikes (not bigger than 80 x 80 x 100 cm). And of course not too heavy, max. 50kg. No big devices like a fridge.
How do I prepare the stuff?
‍You can put it in bags, old card board boxes. Place larger items individually on the ground. Put it in front of your apartment door or in the entrance.
Do I need do be at home?
No, if you are not home, just leave the stuff in front of your (apartment) door.
What do you do with the stuff?
We deal with every item the most eco friendly way we can. If there are items which are still good (clothes, furniture etc.) we sell or donate them. Extraordinary items get listed in our PeekUp Webshop and hopefully find a new owner in Berlin.
Can I reschedule my chosen time slot?
Yes, use the link in your confimation email.
Can I order the service for my friend or any other person?
Yes, please provide their details in the order-form.
I'm a business, can I also use it or is it only for private individuals?
No, sorry. Our service is targeted towards private individuals.
Can I ask for deliveries?
No, we don't do that :)
What about COVID-19?
We take every precaution to protect you and our staff. We will not enter you apartment, we pick up the items in front of your doorstep. Staff wears a mask and gloves and keeps two meters in distance.
